How long in advance should I contact you for moving services?

For our BASIC PLAN at least 5 weeks prior to moving date

For our ESSENTIAL PLAN at least 13 weeks prior to moving date

For our PLUS PLAN at least 18 weeks prior to moving date

Do you find houses for people already living in Egypt?

Yes, we do help people already living in Egypt find houses! However, our service fee still applies in addition to any broker fees. We'll make the process as smooth and convenient as possible by handling everything from property visits to lease negotiations.

 

Can I change my package once I've signed the contract and made a deposit?

​If clients wish to upgrade their plan, a minimum deposit fee must be paid before services can begin. In the case of downgrading, clients are only required to pay the remaining balance of the initial plan. However, if the remaining balance exceeds the new plan’s cost, no refund will be issued.

How do you find and furnish homes for clients before they arrive?

We have a network of real estate agents in Egypt who help us find suitable homes based on your preferences and budget. We also offer furnishing packages to ensure your new home is ready for your arrival.​

Are you a broker?

​Escape to Egypt is not a broker, and we are not responsible for broker fees.

What costs am I responsible for?

Clients are responsible for moving costs (plane tickets, extra baggage, visas), move in costs for home, furniture & appliances, home decor, and home repairs/ improvements. Escape To Egypt is simply responsible for helping you have a smooth and stress free move to Egypt.

How long does the whole process of moving to Egypt usually take?

The duration of the moving process can about 5 to 18 weeks. Excluding unexpected delays caused by manufacturers and landlords or delay of payments from clients.

Where will my driver meet me at the airport?
Your driver will meet you in the arrivals area outside, holding a sign with your name on it. If you have trouble locating your driver, just give us a call, and we’ll assist you immediately.

What types of vehicles do you offer?

Are your prices fixed, or will I be charged extra for traffic delays?
Our prices are fixed and transparent, meaning you won’t pay extra even if there’s heavy traffic or delays. The price you see when booking is the price you pay.

Do you offer round-trip transfers?
Yes, we do! You can book both your arrival and departure transfers with us at the same time, making your travel experience even more convenient.

How far in advance should I book my airport transfer?
We recommend booking your transfer as soon as you know your travel details. While we can accommodate last-minute bookings, early reservations help ensure vehicle availability.

What if I need to cancel or modify my booking?
We understand that plans change. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time without any fees. For modifications or cancellations within 48 hours, please contact us directly.

Can I make special requests, such as multiple stops or specific routes?

Do you offer services outside of airport transfers?
